Accor (www.group.Accor.com/en), a world leading hotel group with more than 400 hotels in India, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, is expanding its presence in Africa with the signing of a dual project: a Novotel hotel and the first Novotel Living in Africa, both located in Conakry, Guinea.

Strategically located in the central business district (CBD) of Conakry, very close to embassies, ministers and the city’s presidential palace, Novotel and Novotel Living will find their home right in the center of the city, both with easy access to major arteries. and main leisure destinations.

Accor collaborates with KAKANDE-IMMO, a real estate subsidiary of the GUICOPRES Group, whose president and CEO is Mr. Kerfalla Camara, also known as KPC in his country.

Founded in 1998, GUICOPRES has quickly become one of the main private companies in the country in terms of billing and job creation, through its four main subsidiaries: Guicopres BTP, Kakande-Immo, Guico-Multiservices GMI (Import company / export and distribution) and Nalou-Transit (Transit Company).

Kakande-Immo, already very dynamic in the real estate development market, is taking a new strategic direction with these two projects with the ambition to become, in the near future, a major player in hotel development in Guinea.

Novotel Living has been developed to meet the expectations of guests seeking long-term accommodation. Indeed, guests seeking the comfort of home with the services of a hotel will be delighted to stay at the Novotel Living, while the Novotel Conakry will offer a key new addition to business and leisure travel to the city of Conakry. and the country in general of Guinea.

The Novotel and Novotel Living properties are expected to accommodate business travelers, host Guinea government delegations, as well as a leisure clientele.

Novotel Living will have 80 keys divided between 35-square-meter studios and 75-square-meter 2-bedroom apartments, making it the first aparthotel in Conakry to be operated by an international hotel group. It will feature luxury boutiques, a food store, a panoramic restaurant, fitness & Spa facilities and private residential lofts.

On the other hand, the Novotel Conakry will have 120 rooms with a privileged location facing the sea with shops located around the hotel. In addition, it will have a rooftop lounge, a swimming pool, fitness & Spa facilities, as well as an International Congress Center of more than 1,500 square meters, with meeting rooms, which will make it the ideal hotel for residential seminars in the capital.

Accor currently operates 156 properties (26,598 keys) in Africa with another 84 (17,739 keys) in process.
