Moses Adams
Moses Adams, sporting director of a Nigerian National League (NNL) club, Abuja City FC, says the club’s goal is to achieve promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Group A1
Adams told the Nigerian News Agency that the Abuja-based team, currently leading NNL Group A1 with 12 points from four games, would not give up on their goal.
City FC
“We miss having a team from Abuja playing in the NPFL and I see City FC as that team to break the curse.
City FC
“We need City FC to play in the NPFL, that way more Abuja fans will be able to watch the best matches in the league and not just focus on the English Premier League.
“We have invested a lot in this team, in terms of welfare, players, coaching staff and more, so we expect nothing less than a qualification at the highest level of football in the country,” he said.
City FC
reports that City FC had defeated Mighty Jets of Jos 2-0, FWC 2-1, Oyah Sports FC 3-0 and 1-0 against EFCC FC in their last four matches.
El-Kanemi Warriors
They will face El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Sunday.
Onyeka Ojieh
Team captain Onyeka Ojieh also said that his ultimate goal is to be in the NPFL.
“We are doing our best to play in the NPFL because our teammates are in the NPFL, not the NNL, and as a result, we will do everything in our power to achieve our goal,” he said.
NNL Group A1
NNL Group A1 consists of EFCC FC, Oyah Sports FC, FWC Champion, Sokoto United, Mighty Jets, ABS of Ilorin, El-Kanemi Warriors, City FC, Zamfara United and Yobe Desert Stars.(www. )
