Abdulmumin Jibrin, the lawmaker wey dey represent Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency for House of Representatives, don repack his bag join All Progressives Congress (APC) again. Dis guy don switch sides plenty times, and now him dey pledge full support for President Bola Tinubu as he prepare for 2027 re-election campaign.
As dem dey gist, Jibrin announce dis new deal on Sunday during one big political rally wey happen for him hometown, Kofa, for Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State. (E be like say crowd don turn crowd for am, sha.) Him even drop am for him Facebook page, let the world know say him and him supporters don unanimously decide to dump New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Kwankwasiyya Movement. Na so dem join APC fully.
“Today, in a show of solidarity, I was warmly received by thousands of my constituents…,” Jibrin yarn. He talk say dem all agree say dem go leave NNPP/Kwankwasiyya make dem fully join APC and endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term. Asaba no plenty since e don set clear goals for dis political move.
Jibrin also mention say almost 2,000 scholars from him constituency don dey pray prayer wey dey special for President Tinubu, as dem dey seek peace, development, and progress both for Kiru/Bebeji and Nigeria as complete. Na serious business o!
No forget say before dis latest news, Jibrin don already announce him departure from NNPP on October 6, 2025, finish with the Kwankwasiyya Movement wey former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, dey lead. Before he jump waka go NNPP for May 2022, na APC him dey roll with, and for there, him dey do better work to boost party strength before elections wey don pass.
As e be, Jibrin’s return to APC go bring better vibe for dem party wey dey challenge time for Kano. Him get serious political influence and grassroots support wey fit make dem stand well for dem front in coming days. The question wey everybody dey ask be: how far this move go take Jibrin?
