Jets vs. Kings – A Tough Game Ahead

The Jets skated yesterday with wins in their last two games including the first game of this three-game road trip. Today they face their toughest test as they go up against a Kings team that is the hottest squad in the Western Conference. They are 8-0-2 in their last ten games and an impressive 23-9-4 at home.

Winnipeg’s Lineup and Changes

Winnipeg looks like they will keep their changes to a minimum re-inserting Dylan Samberg to the lineup for Kyle Capobianco. No morning skate. Will have to wait until warm-up skate (around 2:30 PM CDT) to know if there are gonna be any changes. For now the lines and D pairs are based on yesterday’s practice. If there is a media availability then we will update accordingly.

Comparing the Two Teams

While the Jets have won two straight they are just 5-4-1 in their last ten games and 19-17-1 on the road. From a goal differential perspective (L.A. has played two fewer games) these clubs are close with Winnipeg sitting at +15 and Los Angeles at +18. With all of the above in mind the oddsmakers are favouring the home team in this game. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
