Burlington, Vermont – Nine pipo and one cat don become homeless after fire tear through one house for Burlington for early morning on Thursday.
Burlington fire crew respond to the house for S. Street. Fire reach second floor and spread along outside of building, according to fire officials. Smoke dey come from many floors and sides of building.
Property owner and Red Cross dey on ground to help nine pipo wey affected. Fire officials say one person carry go hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
Wen crew arrive, dem see heavy fire and smoke wey spread from first floor to second floor. At first, dem think say somebody dey trapped inside, but after search, fire department say dem confirm say everybody evacuate safely.
One cat dem rescue and return to owner. No other injury report. Cause of fire still under investigation. Burlington Fire Department say building owner and American Red Cross dey on scene Thursday morning to coordinate with residents wey displaced.
