APC yarn say Adeleke dey use Olaiya flyover rehab plan for vote-buying

For Osun State, di All Progressives Congress (APC) don slam Governor Ademola Adeleke over im directive to rehabilitate di Olaiya Flyover for Osogbo. Di APC dey allege say di project na plan to create funds for vote-buying before di August 15, 2026 governorship election.

Governor Adeleke on Sunday bin direct di Ministry of Works to assess di condition of di bridge, clean am, and carry out rehabilitation works. But di APC, through di Head of Publicity Committee of its Governorship Campaign Council, Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, describe di planned rehabilitation as unnecessary. Omowaiye insist say di flyover, wey former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola build, still dey structurally sound.

Omowaiye allege say di move na desperate attempt by di governor to siphon public funds and create slush fund for vote-buying. According to am, “It is becoming increasingly obvious say Governor Adeleke dey head for resounding defeat at di polls. Public feedback, independent surveys, and di mood across di state don consistently show say di electorate don tire of im administration after enduring anti-people policies and poor governance.”

Omowaiye yarn say only those wey dey seek to benefit from public resources go advocate rehabilitating flyover wey, according to am, still dey demonstrate structural integrity.
