Malaysia Fest 2026 go show rare fruits for Singapore market

Malaysia Fest 2026 don set to showcase unique Malaysian agro-products wey get strong potential to capture Singapore market. According to Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), the ninth edition of the festival go hold from July 30 to August 2 at Singapore Expo.

FAMA senior director of International Market Division, Noorsham Ramly, talk say dem want introduce agro-products like fruits wey rarely found even for Malaysia. If strong demand come, dem fit industrialise dem further. Some of these products currently dey grown on small scale or dey found growing wild for forests.

Noorsham yarn after soft launch of MF 2026 on Friday. Malaysia’s High Commissioner-designate to Singapore, Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, also dey present.

MF 2026 go feature 343 booths and dem expect over 180,000 visitors from different backgrounds. The sales target na RM15 million for the four-day event. Noorsham note say every year dem set target of RM15 million in direct sales, as dem feel say e be achievable target based on success of previous editions.

The theme for MF 2026 na ā€œUnveil the Wonders of Malaysiaā€. MegaXpress International Pte Ltd dey organise am, with support from FAMA and Tourism Malaysia.

Among the fresh fruits wey go dey available na sweet lime, rock melon, pomelo, Lohan guava, Chokanan mango, Giant Sapodilla (ciku mega) and Cempedak King. The festival go also showcase exotic delicacies and cultural performances wey reflect rich and unique cultural heritage of Malaysia’s states.
