Heavy rain dey flood San Antonio, no death yet

Flood Watch still dey in effect until Thursday evening, as several rounds of rain dey move across the area. National Weather Service dey warn say water fit rise quick quick, affect roads, low-water crossings, and drainage areas.

Some places don already receive 1 to 3 inches of rain, and more fit fall where storms dey track over the same spot repeatedly. Heavy rain and flood don hit Medina and Uvalde counties west of San Antonio overnight and into morning, causing road closures and prompting high-water rescues.

Drone video wey National Weather Service release show widespread flooding for D’Hanis, a Medina County community of about 800 residents. Flooding also reported along Highway 90 near Knippa early this morning.

Flood-prone conditions dey expected to continue across the region through Thursday. No death or injury don report so far.

Storms dey expected to bring periods of heavy rainfall throughout the day to San Antonio area. Some areas fit see several inches of rain, especially where thunderstorms dey move over the same locations repeatedly.

Earlier Tuesday morning, NWS say heavy rain dey affect parts of Bexar, Comal, Medina, Uvalde and Val Verde counties, with some areas receiving 2 to 4 inches of rain in three-hour period and intense ongoing rainfall dey make condition worse.
