Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, don call on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu second term ambition for the 2027 presidential election. The governor make this call for statement wey im spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, issue on Friday after the President nomination form don reach Independent National Electoral Commission.
According to Yusuf, President Tinubu leadership don set Nigeria for the path of development and reform. He say Nigerians should support the second term bid to sustain this progress. The governor urge citizens across political, ethnic, and religious lines to unite behind the President, stressing the need for continuity for governance.
“We must rise above our differences and support policies that promote national growth, economic stability, and unity,” he add. President Tinubu nomination form was presented to the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress for the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel. The President was represented by im Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
Governor Yusuf describe the submission of the form as “a significant milestone for Nigeria democratic journey.” He express confidence for the outcome of the electoral process. “A renewed mandate go consolidate ongoing reforms and accelerate development across the country,” he state.
The governor also commend Vice President Kashim Shettima and the leadership of the APC for their commitment to party unity and a credible electoral process. “We appreciate the efforts of the party leadership for ensuring transparency and strengthening democratic values,” he say. He reaffirm Kano State commitment to support policies and programmes wey aim to promote inclusive development and improve the welfare of Nigerians.
