Anderlecht don add new defender to their backline with the signing of Léo Pétrot from Elche. The 29-year-old central defender sign contract wey go run until 2028.
Pétrot only spend one season for La Liga with Elche before he comot join Anderlecht. He go add some much needed experience to a backline wey struggle at times last season.
Before he play for Elche, Pétrot spend almost all of im career for France. He start for Saint Etienne set up before he leave in 2019 without making first team appearance for the side.
Pétrot join Andrezieux Boutheon, play 24 games for the side before he join Lorient. After he feature for the first team during 2021/2022 season, Pétrot return to Saint Etienne. He go on to play 99 games for the French side before he join Elche on free last summer.
Pétrot play 36 games for Elche last season, score one goal.
