The court say the notices wey concern ongoing contractual dispute must comot until the main case finish.
Also, the court restrain Yellow Card Financial Inc. and Yellow Card Financial Nigeria Limited from using law enforcement to recover the disputed money or enforce any obligation from the trading contracts.
EFCC no go take any further coercive action for this matter until the motion on notice don hear and determine.
To preserve the subject of dispute, the court order DKK Partners Limited to deposit $80,000 into interest-yielding account, pending case outcome.
Justice Rosul O. Olukolu grant the interim order for suit number LD/11047GCM/2026, wey DKK Partners Limited file against Yellow Card Financial Inc., Yellow Card Financial Nigeria Limited, and EFCC as first to third defendants.
Claimant lawyer Olamide Balogun tell court say the company voluntarily agree to deposit the disputed funds to show good faith and commitment to contractual obligations.
He maintain say the dispute na purely civil matter and suppose resolve through agreed dispute resolution mechanisms, not criminal investigation.
For the substantive suit, DKK Partners Limited argue say the trading contracts happen between them, a company registered for England and Wales, and Yellow Card Financial Inc., a US-based company.
They say the parties never plan to involve Nigerian law enforcement for any dispute from their private commercial arrangements.
The claimant dey seek declaration say law enforcement no fit be used as debt recovery agents for private contractual disputes.
They also want order to withdraw all related petitions and publications, perpetual injunction to stop further criminal complaints, corrective publication, and N500 million general damages for reputational harm and commercial losses.
The court adjourn the matter to September 29, 2026, for report of service and further proceedings.
