Di candidates come from all 36 states of di federation, Federal Capital Territory, and five foreign countries.
According to am, di exam start on April 20 and finish on April 30, 2026.
Sani explain say dem release di result after di successful conclusion of 2026 BECE Award Committee Meeting wey hold at di council headquarters for Minna, Niger State.
Di meeting wey di Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, wey di Director of Basic Education for Federal Ministry of Education, Dr Folake Olatunji-David, represent am, spearhead.
He add say secondary school principals from across di country and NECO management members attend di award committee meeting.
Sani say di committee also approve July 22 and July 23, 2026, for di BECE resit examination for mathematics and English studies.
He explain say di resit examination na for candidates wey get conditional deficiencies for mathematics, English studies, or both.
But he say di examination go give affected candidates chance to remedy di deficiencies and get di certification wey dem need for admission and placement into SSS I without repeating full academic year.
