Di Governor explain say di vast 2,500 square kilometre terrain of di park don make di rescue operation complex, stressing say e require patience, coordination, and sustained persistence from security agencies involved.
Makinde assure residents say government, in collaboration with security forces, fully commit to ensuring di safe return of di victims, adding say all necessary resources don deploy to track and rescue dem alive.
He note say multiple security formations dey work in coordination within and around di forest reserve, with intelligence-driven operations ongoing to locate and close in on di abductors.
He also emphasize say di difficult terrain, dense vegetation, and scattered hideouts inside Old Oyo National Park dey continue to pose operational challenges for rescue teams.
Di Governor urge residents of surrounding communities to remain vigilant and provide credible information wey fit assist ongoing operations, while warning against speculation wey fit undermine security efforts or cause panic among families of di victims.
He further appeal for calm, stressing say security agencies dey maintain continuous pressure on di area until di abducted students and teachers safely rescue and reunite with dem families.
