He disclose say operatives of Sango-Ota Division arrest Pelumi Akintande (21), Mojeed Sanusi (28), and Mubarak Lateef (17) following a reported armed robbery incident for Alasia community. Di suspects dem allegedly participate for attack on a resident wey dem forcefully take valuables.
Babaseyi add say acting on credible intelligence, operatives swiftly track and arrest di suspects, wey dem recover a locally fabricated cut-to-size pistol and one expended cartridge wey dem allegedly use for di operation. For anoda operation, operatives of Owode-Egba Division arrest Damilare Makanjuola (22) for connection with housebreaking and stealing for Ofada. Dem allegedly apprehend am after e scale fence while e dey attempt to gain unlawful entry into a shop.
Further investigations reportedly link am to oda burglary incidents inside Sun City Estate, Ofada, where electrical items, cash above ₦100,000, and oda valuables dem steal. Recovered items dem secure as exhibits, while investigations continue.
Similarly, operatives of Owode-Egba Division arrest Tijani Jubril (28) and Ezra Modi (22) for conspiracy and stealing inside Treasure Island Estate, Awo Village.
