Senator Tinubu give dis assurance on Saturday during her engagement with Ekiti State Traditional Rulers at Jibowu Hall, Government House, Ado-Ekiti, during her one-day working visit to di state. She describe di horrendous cases of kidnappings, banditry and killings as highly disheartening, and reveal say di president dey committed to make di country safe for all citizens.
She say a lot of efforts dey ongoing to further secure di country and stamp out criminality, but dem no fit divulge di details publicly. Senator Tinubu thank di traditional rulers for dia support for President Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji, saying dis don be a veritable impetus driving di two leaders to give dia best in terms of commitment to good governance.
“It is disheartening dat we get dis insecurity. A lot of foreign countries dey help our nation. Di US and some oda developed countries dey help us in dis matter. Some of dose wey dey terrorise us be non-Nigerians. No matter wetin happen, we go overcome, Nigeria too great to be intimidated,” she tok.
“Make we bear for mind say we get a great country. Challenges go come, but collectively, we fit tackle dem. I fit assure you, we no get Mondays or Sundays, di president dey work round di clock to get dis matter resolved. At times, Mr President go sleep at 3:00am and God don dey faithful. Make we be prayerful about our nation. Na prayers don carry us dis far.”

Cataloguing wetin her initiative don do for Ekiti State, Senator Tinubu say di Renewed Hope Initiative, her brainchild, don build an ultra modern ICT at Ekiti State University to boost digital education of di youths, while also endowing prizes to di tune of N200 million for di undergraduates to broaden di scope of scholarship scheme for di institution.
Di First Lady add say her initiative don empower anoda 2,000 traders with N50,000 each to engage dem for trading, while hundreds of elderly, vulnerable groups and people wey dey live with disabilities dey receive help to raise dia standards of living through fruitful engagements under di current economy.
