Gov Yusuf approve N20,000 Eid package for Kano civil servants

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, don approve special goodwill package of N20,000 for civil servants across state and 44 local government areas, ahead of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Di intervention come after successful payment of May 2026 salaries, and e target workers on Grade Levels 01 to 14 for both state ministries and local government councils.

According to statement by Press Secretary, office of Secretary to State Government, Musa Tanko Muhammad, Governor Yusuf describe di initiative as compassionate and worker-friendly gesture.

Di statement also stress say di gesture reflect di administration commitment to welfare and dignity of civil servants wey form backbone of public service for di state.

Di decision na based on di prevailing economic realities and di financial demands wey dey associate with festive periods. Dis support go enable workers to celebrate Eid with joy and comfort alongside dia families, di statement add.
