Xiaomi don officially launch the Xiaomi 17 Max for China, adding the fourth member to the Xiaomi 17 series. This one carry Max moniker and na the battery-focused powerhouse of the lineup.
The Xiaomi 17 Max come with 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery, wey Xiaomi say fit last over two days for normal use. The battery dey retain up to 80% charge even after 1600 charging cycles, wey be over four years of daily use. When you need to charge, you fit use 100W wired charging or 50W wireless charging. E also get reverse wired charging for other devices.
For camera side, the phone get 200MP main camera with Samsung HP9 sensor and OIS. E join with 50MP 3x telephoto lens wey fit do macro photography, and 50MP ultrawide lens with 17mm equivalent. Xiaomi continue their Leica partnership for camera system, wey include advanced computational photography and enhanced zoom.
The display na 6.73-inch AMOLED with 2608x1200px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. E get peak brightness of 3500 nits, 32MP selfie camera inside punch hole, and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The phone dey powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset based on TSMC 3nm architecture, with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Cooling system don upgrade for better thermal management.
Software side, HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 dey cover am. The phone get IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. Xiaomi 17 Max dey come for black, white, and blue colors. Pricing for China start at CNY 4799 for 12/256GB trim and go up to CNY 5799 for 16/512GB trim. The phone go officially go on sale for China from May 25, 2026. Xiaomi no don confirm global release yet.
