Victoria University don release dia 2025 Annual Report, and e show plenty good news. According to the report, total student enrolments reach 52,656, wey be 27 percent increase since 2022 when the university start dia current Strategic Plan. This growth make VU one of the fastest-growing universities for Australia.
The student population include 39,571 higher education students and 13,085 vocational education and training (VET) students. Both areas see growth. The report also talk about strong financial position, even though some non-recurring and non-cash items affect the result. VU say dem dey practice disciplined financial management and mission-aligned growth.
VU Vice-Chancellor Professor Adam Shoemaker say the positive trajectory show the university commitment to equity. He talk say: “We are thrilled to report another remarkable year for VU. Despite much uncertainty and many global challenges, students are showing up and choosing to study with us. We don’t take that for granted. Our constant strength in our equity cohort reflects our commitment to accessible education.”
Other highlights for the year include record enrolments and strong student outcomes. The university dey ready to invest for students, staff, and infrastructure, even as the higher education sector face changes for the future.
