Tinubu give green light for Nigeria to host CAF awards, assembly

President Bola Tinubu don approve Nigeria bid to host di 48th Ordinary General Assembly of di Confederation of African Football, plus di 2026 CAF Awards ceremony. Di approval come during di ongoing Africa Forward Summit for Nairobi, Kenya, afta meeting between Mr Tinubu and CAF President Patrice Motsepe.

According to di Nigeria Football Federation, pipo wey dey di meeting include Nigeria Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, former NFF president and Special Adviser to di CAF President Amaju Pinnick, and CAF Acting Secretary-General Samson Adamu.

Di 48th CAF Ordinary General Assembly go hold for October. E go bring together presidents of CAF 54 member associations, representatives of di six zonal unions, and top football administrators from across di continent.
