PSV don arrange kampioensreis for dis weekend, but coach Peter Bosz say e no go affect di preparation for di big match against Ajax. Di timing of di trip make some people raise eyebrow, but Bosz quick explain say everything dey under control.
“Qua timing, dis one come out well,” Bosz tok, refer to di match against PEC Zwolle wey dem go play on Thursday because of Koningsdag. “We look at di weekend wey no get football. I don already plan two free days for di players, and now dem go use am for dis trip. Di boys need to do something together, and we want to give di internationals some rest because dem never stop.”
Because PSV get extra days between di matches against PEC and Ajax, di preparation no go change much. “We get normal training week,” Bosz add. “Tuesday we go do open training. I no see any problem; we get one week to prepare and we go work hard.”
Di coach no fear say di players go stay for holiday mode. “E be like double thing. Top sport always dey on di edge, but for di next match wey need am, maybe e no too dey there. But we get many boys wey go go World Cup, and dem need to dey in di best shape. So we no fit let am slack; for di World Cup goers, di season no really finish.”
