Hundreds of motorbike riders don turn Lukow streets into one big motorcycle carnival for the official 2026 Motorcycle Season Opening. The event wey happen on Sunday, 19th April, na Motoweterani Lukow Association organize am. E no just be about bikes sha; dem mix am with charity drive to support one injured person wey dem dey call Mateusz Dros.
The whole thing start by 10:30am with holy mass for Brother Albert Parish inside Lukow. After the church service, by 11:30am sharp, the motorcycle rally kick off. Long line of bikes waka through the city roads and surrounding areas, all heading to the final meeting point for Zalew Zimna Woda.
According to the organizers, attendance no dey poor at all. Fans of motorcycles from different parts of the region all show face. The main point of the program, aside from bringing motorcycle community together, na to gather money for Mateusz Dros rehabilitation. Organizers prepare plenty activities to encourage residents to support the initiative.
For Zalew Zimna Woda side, plenty things happen. One representative from Motoweterani Lukow Association give official speech to thank local institutions and businesses wey support the event. Dem mention City of Lukow, OSiR Lukow (Sports and Recreation Centre), and Bank Spolzielczy. Local transport and service companies also join hand to provide technical and food support for participants.
The event show say when community gather, dem fit achieve two things at once: enjoy motorcycle culture and still do something meaningful for person wey need help. The riders dem no just come to ride; dem come to show solidarity.
