Temi Otedola Ajibade, wey be wife to music big man Oluwatosin ‘Mr Eazi‘ Ajibade, don open mouth talk about how dem and her husband dey manage to talk when quarrel come. For one new episode of their podcast, Temi yarn say her man plenty times dey like to talk through text message, even when dem dey for inside same room.
She remember one particular wahala wey happen when Mr Eazi send her one long email message to talk say e dey vex, instead of to tell her face to face. Temi confess say the matter vex her well well, especially because she don ask the guy many times if something dey wrong. “Now, I think he is working on it,” she add.
“The way I found out that Tosin was angry with me on a Monday was that he sent me this long message. Bear it in mind that we are sitting in the same flat. And me, minding my business, responding to my mails, and I got a message saying everything he was upset about me for,” Temi talk for the podcast.
She continue say, “While I was reading it, my body was already becoming hot. At some point, I couldn’t even read it because I was so angry. Imagine I have asked this guy 10 times: ‘Are you upset with me?’ I was hot. Honestly, if you are in the same situation, I think it is childish not to go up and speak to them.”
Temi still talk say, “Right now, that is what you are comfortable with. You find it easier to express yourself by typing. At least, you are getting out. But it will be nice if you express it to me.”
When e come be Mr Eazi turn to talk, the musician explain say to dey text help am to talk about hard feelings without to risk to talk harsh or make body dey tight. “I would prefer to do that. I see that sometimes when we sit down to talk, I do not hit the nail on the head. Because at the same time, I do not want to sound harsh. I do not want to because I am such a nice person,” Mr Eazi yarn.
E still add, “I think it is important for people to find the best way to communicate. For me, it is writing. When I want to be stone-cold, I can do it, so I can read it again to see what I have repeated.”
This couple begin to date for 2017 and dem do engagement for April 2023. Last year, dem hold wedding wey spread across three different places: Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland. People dey yarn say the whole wedding matter cost around $15 million.
