NYSC don drop timetable for 2026 Batch A Stream II orientation camp

Oya make we yarn am as e be. The National Youth Service Corps, wey dem dey call NYSC, don release the full timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course. Na big news for all the fresh graduates wey dey wait for their call-up letters. The management say the 21-day orientation exercise go hold for all the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, at the same time.

How e go start? According to the statement wey Caroline Embu, the Director of Information and Public Relations for NYSC, sign, the whole thing go begin on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. That day na for reception and registration of all the Prospective Corps Members. This registration matter go dey until midnight on Friday, April 24, 2026. So make una no come late o.

Na that same Friday, April 24, 2026, dem go swear in all the PCMs wey dem mobilize for this 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II service year. This swearing-in ceremony na the one wey officially admit corps members into national service. E dey important well well.

The orientation course itself go last for three weeks straight. E go end on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. For inside those 21 days, wetin dem go do? The usual things: paramilitary drills, lectures, skills acquisition training, and other activities wey dey prepare corps members for the service year ahead. E no go easy, but e dey necessary.

The statement read say, “Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it’s 6.00 pm and pass the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station/outpost or palace of a traditional ruler anywhere in the country, then continue the following morning.”
