Police dey investigate how dem assault 8-month-old pikin for Ogun school

Ogun State Police Command don begin serious investigation into one mata wey shock everybody for one private school for di state. Di mata concern how dem indecently assault one 8-month-old baby girl for di school premises. According to wetin PUNCH Metro gather, di incident happen on Wednesday, March 18, for di school wey di baby mama, Gloria Umukoro, dey work.

Gloria Umukoro explain say di school close early dat day because na revision week, and she stay back to finish some examination questions. She talk say her pikin wey wear diaper, dem initially leave am with di school principal. After about 30 minutes, di school director, Mr Korede Afuye, carry di pikin come give di principal back.

“For my presence, di principal put di pikin for floor because she no dey calm and no want stay for her lap. Di pikin urinate for dia, after dat di principal go office. My colleague too comot, leave me alone with my baby,” Gloria Umukoro yarn.

Di mama talk say she first notice wetness around di baby leg and she think say na urine. “About 10 minutes later, I carry her and shock see say she dey bleed,” she add. Gloria Umukoro say one colleague wey be nurse check di baby and confirm say di bleeding dey come from anus, with bruises wey person fit see around di area.

Di mama allege say di school director na di last person wey handle di pikin before dem discover di injuries. “I ask who carry my baby last, and dem identify am as di last person. I go office confront am and ask wetin happen. I no fit understand how she get injury for short time like dis,” she talk.

She add say di school management beg her make she calm down, but she insist say dem must report di mata to authorities. “Dis kain mata no be wetin dem fit settle anyhow, considering my baby condition,” she talk. Dem report di case to police for investigation.

Police Public Relations Officer for Ogun State Command confirm di development and talk say dem don transfer di mata to State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. Di PPRO talk, “Dem report case of indecent assault involving 8-month-old baby on March 18. Dem don transfer di mata to State Criminal Investigation Department, specifically Gender Unit, for further investigation. Dem dey protect di identity of di child.”

Police add say investigation dey ongoing to know exactly wetin happen for di incident. Di case don cause serious concern among parents and community members for di area, with many people demand justice for di infant. Ogun State Police Command promise say dem go do thorough investigation and make sure say anybody wey involve face di law.

Di incident highlight di need for proper child protection measures for schools and childcare centers across di state. Many people dey call for stricter regulations and monitoring of private schools to prevent such occurrences for future. Di police urge anybody with information about di case to come forward and assist with di investigation.
