Akwa Ibom don waka enter new level as Federal Government don approve Victor Attah International Airport make e start full international flight operations. This approval na wetin I get today for my meeting with Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
This upgrade mean say our airport don join the list of important facilities wey fit handle international travel for Nigeria. E go open doors for tourism, better connection around the world, business development, and foreign investment. Full international operations dem expect am to kick off for the first quarter of 2026.
Dis na big step for our state, and my administration go ensure say we dey work hard to create opportunities wey go make Akwa Ibom stand strong as one of di emerging aviation hubs for Nigeria. God go bless Akwa Ibom State.
