Today, I join Catholic faithful for Uyo Diocesan New Year Fasting and Evangelization Outreach. Here, I reaffirm my commitment to governance wey go dey fair, equitable, and full of compassion. We no go run government based on tribe, favoritism, or nepotism. Every Local Government Area go fit enjoy attention and meaningful projects, especially for our rural areas.
The welfare and security of our people remain our main focus for this new year. I dey very grateful to the Catholic Church for their prayers and support, and I also want to thank our Christian leaders wey dey stand with us in faith and unity.
I don urge our youths to respect leadership and engage with their hearts full of constructive ideas. Together, with kindness, prayers, and unity, we go continue to build peaceful and prosperous Akwa Ibom.
