For Uyo, during di 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, wey just happen, I don launch new economic empowerment package for widows of our fallen military, police, and paramilitary personnel. I also give shout to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for di serious approach wey he dey take to solve our nation security wahala.
To all di brave officers and men wey dey serve for di Nigerian Armed Forces and other security bodies, especially for Akwa Ibom State, we dey appreciate una for di dedication wey una show to our country and our state.
We go build 150 lock-up stores and give take-off grants to di people wey go benefit, so dem fit get sustainable livelihood. This no be just one-time help, but we dey focus on long-term economic stability.
Additionally, we don approve ₦120 million as immediate financial support for our serving military officers and men, plus ₦20 million for di Nigerian Legion.
This na our way to honor di sacrifices of our heroes and to stand by di families wey dem leave behind. We go continue to support our security agencies and work for peace, unity, and safety for Akwa Ibom State.
