I dey attend one three-day program wey na the NGF Induction Program organized by the Nigerian Governors’ Forum. The theme for this year na “Governing for Impact: Building Subnational Governance.” As we dey gather, we don hear from plenty important people: governance experts, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs, diplomats, and top government officials, including UN representatives and security experts.
We don discuss different areas wey concern governance, from how to make policy to how we fit achieve sustainable development goals. The interactive panel discussions and networking wey we get don really open my eyes and ginger me. I dey feel more equipped to lead and make better changes for my state.
I wan give special thanks to the NGF and all the resource persons wey contribute to this event. E don really transform my perspective and I believe say I fit make better impact as I dey carry this knowledge go back home.
