Today, I don launch the NLTP/MOFI pilot Ranch project for Gongoshi Grazing Reserve wey dey for Mayo Belwa Local Government. Dis project na correct move to help reduce di wahala between herders and farmers, as e go set up model ranches for inside the gazetted grazing reserves.
As we sabi, di herders-farmers conflict don dey cause plenty palava for di community, but dis initiative go provide better way for both sides to fit coexist peacefully. E go also help improve di overall agricultural productivity for di area.
Di project get support from government wey dey work to create balance between herders wey need land for grazing and farmers wey dey try protect their crops. We go continue to follow up on di progress of dis project to ensure say e dey deliver di intended result for di people.
For my own part, I go make sure say we dey commit resources to support this initiative well, so everybody fit benefit from am. Na wetin we dey aim for as we dey work to promote peace and sustainability for our communities.
