We sabi say na the Senate of UniAbuja wey just turn Yakubu Gowon University come gather for their 191st regular meeting. Na there dem take sharp decision to kick out these students wey dey chop trouble like say na their hobby!
As the Acting Director of Information, Dr. Habib Yakoob, drop the gist for all of us, he yarn say dem dey send these students packing because dem no fit keep their hands clean. Wetin dem dey do? Na exam malpractice, drug wahala, and different kinds of serious misconduct wey dem commit. E don too much, abeg!
Some of dem dey even collect bad certificates before, because dem go falsify ‘O’ level results just to enter school. Na wetin go make brain dey burst like this? No be to go school suppose dey shine for person?
For this serious matter, dem don withdraw certificate for 15 former students wey no show face after dem don call dem many times. Na wah! But no worry, nine students wey dem investigate clear dem of any bad thing. Dem dey lucky o!
As for the other 33 students, dem don receive warning. Dem dey do things like hostel racketeering, conspiracy, and fighting. Things wey no suppose dey happen for amala joint, talk less for school!
Vice-Chancellor Prof Hakeem Fawehinmi no gree play as he talk say UniAbuja no go compromise on their standards. He dey serious as him talk say academic integrity na wetin dem dey uphold daily. “Anyone wey misbehave go face the music,” he talk. Abeg, na school we dey talk about o!
