Broken fast (we call am Iftar) no dey carry small food, while dem dey use this moment show love and charity with family and friends. Na serious devotion time!

Dis season wey dey run for Christians start with Ash Wednesday, wey go see people come dey reflect on their life choices, dey penitent plenty and dey find forgiveness for sin. Ashes go dey give people cross on their forehead; na like reminder dat life no be beans. Eliminate sins, fast from your favorite chocolate and what not. Some even dey joke sey dem e go reduce social media—ashawo too much for dem hands, lol!
As we dey waka dey go through all dis celebrations, abeg take note say dem all dey focus on renewal and reflection. Even though dem dey follow different traditions, di aim no be different: to bring people together in spiritual journey. E no dey happen often sey all dem big time celebrations dey run for the same time be dis kind, fit be like every 33 years. So make we no take am for granted jor!
