COP30 Dey Talk Roadmap to Close Fossil Fuel Gbege

Ah, my people! Make we yarn about the recent UN climate talk wey happen for Brazil, wey be COP30. Dem don conclude the summit, but e no be like say dem fit gree on the matter of fossil fuels. As na only wahala wey we sabi carry, countries like Saudi Arabia, Russia, and India no wan hear word about cutting their oil and gas dependency.

Now, COP30 president, Andre Correa do Lago, don propose say make dem put together one roadmap wey go help countries wey wan waka toward better climate practices. Na voluntary journey, my people, meaning say if you like join, e dey available, if you no like, no wahala!

Correa do Lago talk say, ‘We no wan cause more divisions, we go work on something wey go unite all countries.’ Make you no forget say more than 190 countries don already agree for Dubai to start dey waka away from fossil fuels. But since then, e be like say na just mouth dey work, no serious movement dey follow am.

Next year, Turkey go host COP31, and Australia go lead the negotiations. As Correa do Lago talk, dem never sure if dem go fit add the fossil fuel mata for the agenda, but the roadmap go still dey sweet for negotiation table.

Also, Colombia don plan international conference for April to dey focus on how we go fit transition away from fossil fuels wey dey cause climate wahala. Correa do Lago dey expect say e go be proper exercise!

Next week, Brazil go ask other countries make dem submit suggestions on top the roadmap wey dem wan prepare. The final version go land for October during pre-COP31 meetings, so everybody go gather their ideas sharp sharp.

This whole matter wey dey happen for climate talks don show say getting countries to agree no easy. But we still dey hope say everybody go join hand to reduce carbon prints wey dey spoil our planet. Na so we go fit sabi live better life for this earth!
