Meanwhile, dem plan to flex muscles for the Africa Cup 7s wey go hold for Mauritius for men side. And no forget say dem dey eye some invitational matches plus collaboration with West Africa Rugby Series wey go strengthen our rugby presence. Na proper networking!
But dat one no be d only gist! Dem dey bring back the women’s programme, as dem don submit bid to host the Africa Cup Women’s 7s Regional Qualifier for Lagos or Ogun. This one go make Nigeria dey back on top continental rankings and fit open door for Africa Women’s Cup 7s.
Dem dey plan to join Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Division 1 for Tunisia too, for those wey sabi the 15s format. Na dual-approach dem dey carry for the women side, to build strong and sustainable team. E go sweet when dem finally bring the trophy come home!
