Na wah o! Labour Party don dey shake ground again as dem dey fight over who be the real chairman. Dis one no be small matter as Julius Abure and his loyalists don tangle with Nenadi Usman wey claim say she don take over the party secretariat for Abuja.
As we dey talk, Abure don dey shout say he no go gree hand over the secretariat to Usman even when INEC don recognize her leadership. Dem dey throw accusations like say na football match! Usman don dey demand say make police and DSS arrest Abure for unauthorised invasion. Chai! Wetin dey happen for this Labour Party?
Last Monday, Usman organize press conference wey security sharp-sharp follow her, accuse Abure and him gang of invading the party office and even threaten staff. Na so she talk say, ‘Nigeria no be playground for chaos, we dey run democracy here o.’ But the Abure camp no gree leave am like that as dem counter say dem no break into any office, rather na the courts dey settle who be the real oga.
But Abure people dey shout back say make we ignore all dis drama wey Usman dey throw, dey claim say na them be the ‘real’ owners of the party materials. Dem claim say some hoodlums even scale the fence at night to put Usman’s billboards sharper than their own. Wetin dem dey find for party matter wey no concern them?
As all dis drama dey unfold, people dey wonder if dis na movie or serious political clash. Abure dey insist say he go appeal court decision, while Usman dey call on security agencies to act against him. Wetin e go take to calm dis wahala down?
