My people, e get wahala wey don dey happen for Liberia since how many years, and na Nigeria wey carry the heavy load for that side.
Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu no dey play as he yarn say na Nigerian soldiers be the backbone wey help bring peace for Liberia during dat civil war wey scatter everywhere. Him talk dis matter for Monrovia when dem dey celebrate Armed Forces Day for Liberia.
Shaibu talk say the stability wey Liberia dey enjoy now na because of wetin Nigeria do. E no be just coincidence, but serious determination from our government to make sure say West Africa dey stable.
Dis man, no forget to remind everybody how Nigerian troops take carry the serious burden during peace enforcement operations. Na dem sabi how to face wahala and dem don carry proper losses just to make sure say law and order no go disappear for Liberia.
He also give accolades to Nigeria government wey don show leadership, as dem send troops and resources go help Liberia anytime wey dem need am. Dis na wetin help lay the foundation for democracy and national peace for the country.
As e be now, two top Nigerian officers — Brigadier General Mohammed Sani Usman and Brigadier General Owoicho Egiga — don receive award for their contributions to the Armed Forces of Liberia. Na serious work dem do so, and dis award no be small matter o.
Shaibu dey reflect on how e participate for the rebuilding of the Armed Forces of Liberia. E talk say e be like movie wey dem dey shoot, because dem dey work on top operational force as e dey active. He dey happy say the officers wey dem train during the early days don japa go high positions now.
The man don talk say Nigeria go still dey support Liberia with advisory services and capacity building to make sure say everythin dey okay for Liberia. He no forget to drop warning for drug trafficking and cybercrime wey dey spoil koro-koro, say na serious national security matter.
Na so Nigeria dey show commitment for Liberia security, calling the defence relationship wey dey between the two countries “gential partnership, strong trust, and bond wey no go break.” He sabi sey make dem work together to stop this new wahala wey dey come.
Lieutenant General Shaibu commend the Armed Forces of Liberia for their hard work, loyalty and discipline, say dem be solid stabilisers for Liberia and na dem dey protect democracy for the country. E don make everybody sabi sey na God dey help us through this partnership.
Shaibu also use opportunity wey dem dey celebrate Armed Forces Day, to greet the President of Liberia and the entire people of the country. Him believe sey the work wey dem dey do go help them keep things in order and maintain peace not just for Liberia, but for West Africa as a whole.
