Last Monday, dem set date for Federal Capital Territory high court, but instead of seeing the suspects, we just dey see empty chairs. 11 suspects wey dey face nine-count charges of armed robbery and culpable homicide, just dey chill for their corner without any explaination. Dem all don plead not guilty before. E be like say dem don forget say trial dey happen.
Prosecution counsel, Adama Musa, no fit hide him frustration as he dey talk to the judge. E yan say prison officers claim say dem no sabi the hearing date at all. E no go believe this kind excuse—abi na joke? I mean, wetin dem dey do for Kuje Correctional if dem no fit follow court schedule?

The suspects wey dey for chair for trial include Shamsu Hassan, Sani Sirajo, Hassan Isah, Abubakar Alkamu, Abdulsalam Saleh, Suleiman Badamosi, Zaradeen Mohammed, Musa Umar, Mashikur Jamil, Suleiman Sani, and Abubakar Usman. All of dem dey face serious charges wey fit give dem death penalty if dem no fit defend demself well.
This matter don provoke many people. Dem dey shout, “What is going on for security matter for Abuja?” This matter don raise many eyebrows as people dey dey fear to even sleep for their houses again. Na so this country dey go? Dangers dey everywhere!
