See ehn, na the State Epidemiologist, Dr. Kamaldeen Khadeejah, lead the team wey check wetin dey go down, after people waka come bring news say one corps member don catch Lassa fever for the NYSC camp on February 8, 2026. But after dem investigate, government talk say no sign of Lassa fever dey for the camp. Na serious investigation dem do o!

Dem even check all the corps members and camp officials, and no suspected or confirmed case of any viral sickness show face for there. Na very good news be this. Kamaldeen still talk say dem dey monitor the camp well well, just to make sure say any sickness wey fit arise go catch am early.

She say e go beta make dem sensitise health workers and corps members on how Lassa fever dey be, wetin dem suppose do if dem dey feel any symptoms, so nobody go carry wahala enter the camp. NYSC State Coordinator, Olaoluwa Onifade, come explain say the corps member wey people talk about for social media get chronic illness wey don dey with am since before. Even Environmental Health Officer, Adamu Kabiru, dey yarn say we need to improve sanitation and make sure say rats no dey around the camp.
