Before now, na only salary earners dey carry the wahala for head, while all the big boys dey find way run hustle without paying their share. But now, Oga Tinubu don show say e get mind, e no wan follow the cheap way of just pleasing everybody. E don choose reform to carry us enter better place. Na true say the economy dey shake small, but this new law fit help protect our people wey dey suffer pass.
But you know say no be every time good news dey shine? As dem bring this new tax bill, e turn commotion, as opposition people begin dey spread gist wey go fear everybody. Dem dey talk say salary go drop. Dem dey shout say workers go carry less money home at the end of the month. Na so dem dey turn PAYE to new punishment for us, instead of restructuring wey fit help us. Na wah!
As January pay slip come land, e be like say fear don turn to fact. Naija workers don dey share their experiences for social media, and e dey different from wetin dem bring come. People dey talk say even if their gross figure adjust, their net pay don increase! E mean say dem dey take less tax now! Some of dem sabi say dem dey reduce PAYE, and na light dey shine through the darkness.
Our people dey fear fear, but the hard truth be say, most Naija workers go dey enjoy this new law wey dey focus on low and middle income earners. No be lie! This new tax structure na for people wey no dey see plenty money for pocket. Na now e go be fair and protect the poor. The noise dey fade, and the numbers dey speak the real story – we no fall for the panic where dem dey push.
