Katsina Governor Dikko Radda Don Collect Honorary Doctorate Degree

My people, make I tell una wetin happen for Katsina State! Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda don shine as he collect Honorary Doctorate Degree for Public Administration from Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU). E no be small matter oh!

This honor wey dem give am, he no take am play. E talk say na sign to serve better, and him dey promise say him go do more to support the state university. As e talk am, UMYU na serious place for learning, character, and service.

For the 14th convocation wey happen, Radda don praise the graduands, as him chook mouth say how the university dey help develop people for Katsina State. “I accept this honour with humility and a renewed sense of responsibility,” na wetin Radda talk. E urge the graduates make dem lead with sense, dey innovate well, and serve people wey need am.

Dem get one sweet gist from am too. E don confirm say the best graduating students go get automatic job after dem finish National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). How you see dat? Na way wey e dey reward hard work and encourage dem to aim high!

Our governor no stop there oh! E dey give kudos of ₦100,000 cash award for the best students across all departments and even brand-new motor for the best graduand – na serious wahala! E also talk say dem don release funds for better accreditation of courses so dem fit meet international standards.

As we dey talk now, Radda don announce say salary go increase for academic and non-academic staff. E talk say na way to show appreciation for dem hard work and commitment. ”We go continue to support UMYU make dem fit strive for excellence and serve humanity,” na wetin him yarn.

Chancellor of the University, Sen. Ibrahim M. Ida, dey jolly as he dey celebrate the students’ hard work and family support. E commended the university growth, say dem dey expand programmes and community work. Senator Hadi Abubakar Sirika, Pro-Chancellor, still hail Radda for him leadership and him plan to make education better.

Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Salihu Muhammad, talk say UMYU don grow from just 1,000 students to over 20,000. Na serious milestone, as dem dey run 117 different programs now! E also give big ups to the 2,682 graduands, including 31 first-class graduates, show say hard work dey pay!

Ambassador Ahmed Rufa’i, wey represent all the honorary doctorate holders, thank the university and tell the new graduates to serve society with honesty. The convocation no be small gathering oh! E get Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal; and plenty other important people wey come show support.
