“For dia own side, Umeh explain say di whole process no be quick quick matter, e involve a lot of readings, public hearings, consultation with people wey sabi, plus di joint committee work wey dem do. Na now dem finally talk say we must make dis amendment clear for di people wey go still dey contest election in future,” e talk.

But as e be, Senate on Tuesday pass di Electoral Act Amendment Bill retain di provision wey allow INEC to transfer results di way dem fit, no compulsory electronic one, shorten election timelines and maintain di PVC as di only voter ID. Dem also set up committee to harmonise di bill wey remain.”
