My people, make I gist you wetin dey happen for Dangote refinery matter. E be like say our petrol go soon dey shine like gold if we no take care o! Dangote don come put mouth for fuel production and distribution gist, and dem dey talk say if coastal logistics hold us for neck, e fit make petrol price waka enter N1,000 per litre. Wetin you think say go happen? Na wah!
For statement wey dem post for their X page, dem say they get world-class gantry facility wey fit load 2,900 tankers every day. You sabi wetin that one mean? Na over 50 million litres of petrol straight! Dem dey operate 24/7, no sleep for this refinery o.
Na so e be, the gantry loading wey dem dey use na im be the best method to load fuel without wahala. E dey cancel port charges, maritime levies, and all those extra money wey no go reach our pockets. How your pocket no go fat when dem dey cut all these extra cost?
But abeg, make we talk truth, coastal loading dey around, and marketers go still get option to choose how dem wan load their fuel. But na here the matter dey heavy! If dem choose that coastal method, dem fit add N75 extra per litre to wetin we dey buy. E go make us dey open wallet like no tomorrow!
Dem dey run analysis say Nigeria dey consume around 50 million litres of petrol everyday plus 14 million litres of diesel. If we no move this coastal loading phobia, e go still land us about N1.752 trillion extra annually! Omo, this na wetin we dry call wahala!
You know say na local refining don help us to balance the fuel price matter? Diesel don drop from N1,700 to around N980, while petrol go down from N1,250 to N900. Na so e be when we fit control wetin we dey refine locally, e dey help our economy and lessen the forex wahala wey dey disturb naira. Make you just imagine wetin happen if we con dey carry coastal logistics for head again!
