E talk am like sey dem na new pikin wey just enter school. DLA na di only party wey meet all di requirements wey INEC put down, while NDC na just follow orders from di Federal High Court for Lokoja. Na so dem dey register dem join di party family!
As dem dey enter di political arena, na so Naija go fit burst with more parties on ground making e total 21 parties wey dey waka. E get as e be with political parties, some go work well, some go just dey disturb everybody. Now, dem say di DLA don officially start work as party from February 5, 2025. Omo, dis election gist no fit make dem sleep for house!
Dem don receive plenty letters, up to 171 from different associations wey won join di political party game. But after dem screen, only 14 fit pass di first stage. From dem, eight fit upload dia documents, but na only DLA and NDC manage make am reach di end. And so wey INEC crown dem as di new boys for town.
E no finish there oh, as INEC dey prepare for di 2027 general elections, dem still dey send warning to all di parties say make dem no dey fight among demself again. Infighting no good for anybody! Dem need concentrate on how to dey develop policies and engage with di communities instead of dem dey set di house on fire with internal issues.
Prof. Amupitan also talk say make all di parties make sure say people wey get dem voting card go collect dem well before di deadline wey dey approach. “Abeg, no let yourself fall for vote-buying wahala,” he urge dem. Na wetin dem dey call subversion of di democratic will, and this one fit land dem trouble!
As dem dey plan, di INEC boss don talk say dem go start final touch for registration wey go clean up di voters register, because na only wetin dem fit trust go make di election free and fair.
