Dem don file am for response to Akpabio wen try move for Supreme Court January 21, 2026. Wetin dey happen for this case.eh, dem dey urge the apex court to dismiss Akpabio’s matter because dem talk say e no get weight and na abuse of court matter.
Wetin we sabi be say, di Court of Appeal don finish hearing for di main appeal since November 28, 2025, and dem don reserve am for judgment. So, to come dey run reach Supreme Court now na like say you wan spoil di whole matter wey dem dey follow for ground. Na wetin di respondents talk, and dem don drop their counter-affidavit sharp sharp.
According to dem, Akpabio no try well for di Court of Appeal because he no fit follow di rules wey say each party no suppose pass 35 pages for their brief. Akpabio run pass di limit, and di court come refuse to admit am. Dis one no be small wahala oh!
Even wey matter don reach Supreme Court, di respondents dey shake table against Akpabio, say him no get case and him appeal dey incompetent. Dem say Akpabi no gree allow fair hearing wey everybody get, but na dem go judge am for Supreme Court.
Baba Akpabio no dey back down sha, as e still dey try appeal di suspension wey dem give Natasha from February 2025.
