According to faaji wey Bawa Mokwa drop, dem don share total sum of N1.969 trillion to Federal Government, states, and Local Government Councils as December 2025 federation account revenue. Abeg, wetin you expect? Na January FAAC meeting dem gather chop this money o, and e sweet pass for who no go chop anything.
Breaking am down, that N1.969 trillion na combination of N1.084 trillion from statutory revenue, plus VAT wey be N846.507 billion, and nobo biko see 38.110 billion from Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL). As they talk am, total gross revenue wey dey for December 2025 na N2.585 trillion, but no forget say dem deduct N104.697 billion for cost wey dey cover collection. Wahala no be joke, my guy!
But make we break am down small small. For December, gross statutory revenue wey dem gather na N1.631 trillion, but e lower pass wetin dem get for November wey be N1.736 trillion. Wetin dey happen? E mean say we dey collect less, but VAT wey dey sweet like sugar increase as e reach N913.957 billion. Na more money pass wey dey come o, because na almost N351 billion more than N563.042 billion wey dem get last month.
Na so redistribution go happen self. Federal Government waka away with N653.500 billion, states carry N706.469 billion, and Local Government Councils stash N513.272 billion for pocket. No forget say states still collect about N96.083 billion as mineral revenue.
Even for VAT breakdown, Federal Government see N126.976 billion, while state governments enjoy N423.254 billion, and LGs chop N296.277 billion. E look like say every side dey enjoy some share of this moola wey don drop!
Still dey gree say N5.717 billion from the EMTL wave enter Federal Government pocket, state get N19.055 billion, while LGs collect N13.338 billion. But no be everything dey go for our tins as oil and gas royalty and some other fees wey dem dey collect don drop small. E be like say payment wey dem dey collect don soft small.
