PAP Don Distribute 900 Laptops for Students Geng

Naija wey dey shine, as Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) don land anoda 900 laptops give students wey sabi book for different universities. Dis na di third batch wey dem distribute, and e no be small thing o!

Dis new laptops dem dey go for students wey dey partner with Nigeria Maritime University and Admiralty University of Nigeria, plus some other schools wey no dey do any partnership like Dennis Osadebey University, Southern Delta University, and University of Delta. Na Friday dem present di laptops as e be wey PAP Administrator, Dennis Otuaro, give di order.

According to report wey PUNCH Online gather, dis laptops na continue from wetin dem do before. For May 2025, dem don share 663 laptops, and in November 2025, dem give out 1,857 units. Na serious investment we dey talk about for education here!

Otuaro talk say dis initiative na way to show dem commitment wey dem get for human capital development for di Niger Delta area. He don remind everybody say education na di key to personal growth, innovation, and development wey go help society grow. E talk say, “Dis laptop wey we give you na better tool wey go enhance una learning, research, and innovation.”

He still encourage di students make dem use di laptops well, no be to dey play games or watch video alone o. Otuaro thank President Bola Tinubu for him support for di program, plus di National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, for him oversight.

Many of di students wey receive di laptops don talk say dis distribution na correct timing because e go really help dem for their studies. Na so PAP don send over 9,000 students go universities all over di place for the past years since Otuaro land for dis office come March 2024.

PAP don dey operate since 2009, and e start because of di wahala wey dey happen for di Niger Delta. Di aim na to disarm di former militants and help dem rehabilitate. As time don dey go, di program don shift focus go skills training, education, and empowerment to make sure peace and development fit flourish for di oil-rich region.
