Governor Sheriff Oborevwori no fit attend, but e send Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari, wey be Commissioner for Higher Education, to carry message of encouragement for the graduates. Dem no go hear word as e praise the students, wey don di hustle finish, make dem use their skills shine for this life!
Professor Tonukari, wey stand for the governor, tok say: ‘My people, you don do well! Make sure say you dey show compassion and professionalism as you dey enter the health field.’ E also tell dem say education no stop for here o, make dem pursue more knowledge. As the family members, traditional rulers, and dignitaries dey kwikly smile and snap pictures, wetin we fit do? Na celebration time be that!
Dr. Odiete Eravweroso, the Provost too no gree carry last. She come talk say this convocation no be small matter, as e be the first one wey she dey lead since she come onboard for August 2025. E also sweet her belle as she dey see graduates wey don wait long time to collect their certificates. ‘This one na closure for dem! No be small achievement,’ she dey yarn.
Dr. Eravweroso also ginger the graduates, talk say character go gree shape their future. ‘You dey graduate when Nigeria need better health professionals, so no go carry last. We dey watch you!’ Just as dem dey rejoice, the governor’s goodwill no dey far, as e promise to dey attend the next convocation. Na beta gree for all the graduates!
Dr. Chris Oharisi, wey be the Chairman of the Governing Council, gree join gist as e congratulate the container for the ceremony. E remind dem say as health professionals, na sacred trust dem dey carry. ‘Your decision fit change life, so do am well,’ na wetin e talk as e light the mood.
All in all, 5,922 students no gree carry last as dem receive their certificates, National Diplomas, and Higher National Diplomas from 2017 go 2025. Na correct time for award presentations, and everybody dey brimming with pride. Jolly jolly for the campus!
