When Sunday PUNCH drop their hot report for December, everybody eye come dey shine! The matter wey dey ground be say the company no dey provide the hosting wey dem promise, and clients dey vex well well.
Later, their Senior Technical Officer, Kemi Oladeji, come confirm say dem don refund those clients. Na one cool message wey she drop for WhatsApp show say dem carry money come back for two victims of their wahala.
One of the clients wey carry matter enter light, Chancery Giwa, don talk say he pay for renewal of two websites since July 2025 but website no show face again. Na by August 13, one don pack up, then August 24, the second one follow join. Wetin be this? E no dey sweet for business at all!
Giwa talk say e try call dem, e try everything but na only smoke e dey receive. E come finally rush register with another hosting company wey no dey give am wahala again. As na so money no fit gree dey wasted!
The second client, Deborah Odekola, she no get joy too. She pay HostNowNow on October 1 but na ghost service she receive. Odekola don talk say she sef don migrate both her business and mind go another hosting provider with fresh domain name. As wahala fit happen like this?
But as luck go shine, dem don refund dem both. Odekola confirm say dey don send the money back to their company account. She dey grateful say PUNCH help bring the matter to light. She talk, “I don tell my team say money don scatter, but now, we don collect am back. Thank you!”
Giwa no wan gree carry last too, as e confirm say email land for im mailbox say dem don refund am. E go just smile dey check im account like say na new year gift. “I open my mail, e be like say miracle don happen; I check my bank, and the money don land,” e chuk mouth talk.
Before all this drama, HostNowNow don come out with big apology to every client wey don suffer because of their service wahala. Dem claim sey dem don dey provide web hosting for Naija for nearly 10 years, but dem run into some serious palava wey scatter their internal system.
Dem say this wahala affect wetin dey happen for their renewals, support requests, and all this serious business wey clients dey expect from them. Na im make plenty people dey vex, because who no wan hustle for im money? Everybody dey need dem side hustle to dey groove.
