As dem gather do the Service of Songs, na big show of love and respect wey dey flow. Na Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, wey be Secretary to the State Government, wey stand in for Governor Sanwo-Olu. E no hide the impact wey the Aikhomu family don make for Nigeria o! The man wey dey in charge of our navy, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, too join the tribute. Na serious gathering be this, my friends.
Children and grandchildren of late Dame Aikhomu no dey hold back their praises. Dem describe am as person wey get deep faith and compassion for everybody wey cross her path. Na person wey put service and community for front. The officiating pastor, Reverend Abednego Okpala, don clearly talk say we for always find comfort in God, even when life dey show us pepper.
Reverend Okpala drop serious wisdom for this occasion. E remind everybody say life na short journey, and we suppose live am well not just for ourselves but for God. E use Bible quotes talk say, make we no dey worry, but trust God for everything wey dey happen. Na wetin true joy and peace go come from too, my people.
As the service dey come to an end, plenty prayers dey go for the family. Reverend Okpala still warn say everybody wey dey here make dem use their time and talent serve God, just like the late Dame Aikhomu don show with her life.
