Una don hear am? NDDC don fire up fresh roads and big hall for Ogu community, no be joke! The minister for Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, carry him full chest go launch these projects wey go change the wahala matter for Rivers State.
According to Wike, this na sign say Federal Government dey serious to develop the Niger Delta area make am better. He talk say, “I dey feel proud about the level of development wey dey happen for Ogu. The roads wey dem build no be common road, dem sabi work well!” Na im get Ogu Community Road Network wey be 9.4-kilometer long and the 1,500-seater Royal Hall wey dey shine like new!
The NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, no slack for mouth too. Him dey yan say this project na part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda wey President Tinubu dey push. Ogbuku dey encourage all de people for Ogu-Bolo to carry their hands make sure say dem maintain this project. No be only dey fit chop food, make dem also fit carry plate to wash!
Engr. Gbenga Omowale, wey be NDDC Director of Project Monitoring and Supervision, shed more light on the road matter. E come explain say the road get 9.45 km wey don utilize concrete wey sabi hold ground, plus drainages wey dem don install wey go help make everywhere fresh after rain. You fit waka from one village to another without wahala, and business go dey boom along the route.
The Royal Hall wey dem build no be just hall o, e get all the correct fittings wey go make every event sweet and enjoyable. From fire-fighting equipment to multiple air conditioners wey go cool the space during event, plus public sound system wey no go let any voice to waka miss! Omo, dem don really put mind to this project!
Chief Lawrence Egbelekpeke, wey dey lead the Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs, no gree carry last too. Him express him gratitude for the project as him acknowledge say NDDC dey work hard to make things better for dem community. E add say the quality of the work no be small matter, e dey top notch!
