Dem first carry her go Genesis Hospital wey dey Ikeja, but later dem transfer am to Emazur Multispecialist Hospital for Ojuelegba.
Na here dem call Medical Ambulance Service to help carry am go second hospital. Dem talk say dem believe say the ambulance get everything wey go fit handle person wey dey depend on ventilator. But as dem dey waka, the ambulance just jam power failure and everything come shut down. The ventilator wey dey support her life just off like say na joke.
Na here, lawyer wey dey represent the family, Mr. Femi Falana, don vex! E talk say dem try to ventilate her manually, but the condition of the woman come dey shaky as e no dey follow the proper standards wey ambulance suppose get to carry ICU patients. E no sweet at all.
Dem don demand say dem ambulance service make dem investigate wetin happen and respond within five days or else dem go carry matter go court. Dis matter don dey hot for Lagos as the family dey point finger say na wahala from the ambulance service cause their ‘mama’ early demise.
Mrs. Folashade Abiola, the mama of the late Adunola, don express her sorrow well well. She dey talk say she dey inside the ambulance that day, and the thing wey happen too much. ‘The driver ask me make I give am water from dashboard while dem dey try to manually ventilate my daughter,’ she talk. She dey claim say nothing like breakdown happen, say their ambulance dey on the go all through the journey, and dem get CCTV footage to show say the patient dey ventilated while dem dey move.
Mould talk say the family dey gree to give access to Adunola medical records before dem fit do proper investigation. She dey emphasize say na normal procedure to request for medical records when matter don clear like dis, but dem no fit start without consent.
